Roaring Fork: Ride-A-Thon Opening Weekend

Kick off- Snowmass Bike Park Opening day with us at Base Camp! Roaring Fork Mountain Association will be hosting a free After Party, free for all attendees. Plan your 6/21 ride on your favorite Snowmass area trails, and wrap up your day at our big community gathering! All Ride-A-Thon Participants will be welcomed with a free drink at Base Camp. In between Typical Ghosts’ funky and groovy sets, we will be recapping everyone’s efforts, celebrating our top riders & fundraisers, presenting special prizes, and will be sure to share the latest good news on RFMBA’s trail projects & programs. Hailing from various locales and diverse musical backgrounds, the members of Typical Ghost converged in the mountains of Colorado, melding together jazz, funk, rock and pop influences into an amalgam of both thoughtful and head-bobbing, booty-shaking original music. Drawing inspiration from legends across genres, the band combines complex harmonies, bouncy grooves, and a propensity for improvisation to craft a sound that pays homage to their inspiration while pushing into new musical territory.
