Cocktails, Mocktails and Collage

Join artist and Aspen Art Museum Fellow, Annie Bell, for a fascinating exploration of collage. We will warm up by touching briefly on the history of the artform by looking at “papier colle” created by Picasso, Braques, Gris, Matisse, Schwitters, Hoch and more. Then we will pick up scissors and glue to create our own layered compositions using salvaged books, painted papers, photographs, magazines,etc. Each participant will have the opportunity to complete multiple collage pieces to take home.

This hands-on workshop will dive into the world of collage, blending textures, colors, and materials to create unique, expressive works of art.

All materials and supplies are provided, all skill levels welcome!
