An evening of truth, connection, and memorable live storytelling.

Men’s Voices is an evening of true, personal storytelling that invites men to speak from lived experience with honesty, courage, humor, and heart.
In a supportive and intimate setting, storytellers share real moments from their lives—stories of identity, fatherhood, love, loss, friendship, vulnerability, resilience, and becoming. The event creates space for men to be heard beyond roles, expectations, and stereotypes, offering audiences a rare opportunity to witness the complexity, tenderness, strength, and humanity of men’s inner lives.
Curated and guided by Alya Howe, Men’s Voices celebrates the power of story to deepen connection, expand empathy, and build community. Each voice adds to a larger conversation about what it means to be human, to listen deeply, and to belong.
Meet the storytellers:
Tanner Jones | educator & writer from the Roaring Fork Valley. His story is one part confession and one part offering. This is a pivotal turning point in finding his purpose.
Mark Millhone | storyteller, educator, and creativity evangelist. His story relates how his Labrador retriever’s emotional intelligence inspired him to question the stoic conditioning and become a better man.
Frodo Barrera | Argentinian explorer with a passion for snowboarding and teaching salsa dancing, yoga, and dirt biking.
Vangel Yurukov | immigrated from Bulgaria to the USA in the pursuit of freedom, happiness and his idea of the American Dream. His story explores how he faced his past, broke old patterns, and how he began to live with integrity, responsibility, and inner freedom.
Samuel Bernal | happy husband, proud father, and multimedia journalist who leads the Spanish-language radio station La Tricolor Aspen. His story is deeply personal in what makes him laugh and what makes him cry.
