TONIGHT’S ENTERTAINMENT

TAARKA – FAMILY BAND: Described as “a collision between Django Reinhardt and David Grisman” the Pelta-Tiller Trio strikes a balance between swing and jazz classics, modern and classic Jazz Manouche (Gypsy Jazz) tunes, Brazilian choro, and their own well-crafted songs and spirited instrumentals. Jazz violinist and singer, Enion Pelta-Tiller, guitarist/mandolinist David Tiller, and their son, award-winning youth jazz bassist, Aesop Pelta-Tiller create a lively sound together, and follow in the footsteps of Django Reinhardt and his descendants by playing with a rhythmic cohesiveness enhanced by their family ties.
