Summer at The Rink
When winter comes to an end and the grass appears once again, our rink becomes the perfect outdoor gathering space for summertime activities including lawn games, movie nights, weekly artisan markets and more.
As the warm summer days arrive, we’ll keep you cool and the kids busy playing around the Splash Park, which features pop jets and shallow tiered pools where it’s easy for parents to hang out and supervise.
King Yoga’s owner Aaron King new Snowmass studio features yoga classes that combine healing practices with music to help students find a balance between body and mind. Outdoor classes also take place on The Rink during the summer.
Open during the winter season, the Treehouse combines childcare facilities with ski and ride school programs, plus rentals in one convenient location for parents and their little shredders.
Colorado’s tallest indoor rock-climbing wall offers climbers – from beginners to the most experienced — an opportunity to challenge themselves on routes inspired by local, favorite climbs. Located inside the new Limelight Hotel Snowmass, climbing is available from noon to 7 p.m. daily and cost $10 per 30-minute session.
We want to keep you entertained on and off the mountain with can’t-miss activities and events including live music, film, theater, art installations, educational speaker series, festivals, farmers’ markets and more. Enjoy free music with Aspen Piano Man David Dyer, evenings with the Aspen Center of Environmental Studies, art workshops with Kelly Peters and Native Storytelling by the Aspen Historical Society, just to name a few. There’s so much to do all year long.
Although we don’t have an ocean in the heart of Snowmass Base Village, we do offer our version of “The Beach” with year-round activities, dining and events. Located at the base of Snowmass Mountain, The Beach is home to free concerts, food festivals, family-friendly holiday events including the Fourth of July, New Year’s Eve and Mardi Gras, plus a BBQ festival, circus, bike demos and more.
