Native Ute Exhibit
March 30 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
An event every day that begins at 9:00am, repeating until March 31, 2019
Aspen Historical Society’s traveling exhibit “Seasons of the Nuche: Transitions of the Ute People” explores the past and present of the Ute people in the American West. AHS curated the traveling exhibit from the award-winning exhibition of the same name, displayed at the Wheeler/Stallard Museum between 2012 and 2015, which was designed with input from Ute tribal members. The exhibit, featuring modular display panels and interactive elements such as a tipi, will help bring the history and culture of the Ute people to Snowmass this winter season.
AHS thanks The Memnosyne Institute and the Louis and Harold Price Foundation for making this traveling exhibit possible.
