February 12 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Potbelly Perspective at Snowmass: Skiing Snowmass’ Famed Peaks

Join Art Burrows and local ski mountaineers for a special “Snowmass Edition” of Potbelly Perspectives!

This special presentation includes a photographic and video adventure of beautiful mountains and big missions in one of Colorado’s most dramatic alpine areas, the Snowmass zone of the Elk Mountains, narrated by Art Burrows and local ski mountaineers.

Art Burrows, co-author of Fifty Classic Ski Descents of North America, has explored winter from the Yukon near the arctic circle, all the way to the southern Sierra. He has spent over 4 decades getting lost, which is – of course – the best way to discover new territory.

Burrows, along with fellow ski mountaineers Lou Dawson, Jordan White, and Christy & Ted Mahon, will describe memorable ski adventures in the less traveled part of the Elks adjacent to Snowmass Village. Each adventure will be accompanied by incredible photography to spark an appreciation of our nearby mountains. If you enjoy living vicariously via the dramatic visual record of these five adventurers, don’t miss this evening in Snowmass!

Join us at 6PM in The Collective at Snowmass. This presentation is free and open to the public.
