Movies Under the Stars Presents An Adventure Entertainment Film

Bring your blankets, a picnic and join The Collective Snowmass for the return of Movies Under the Stars. Movies begin at dusk, typically 8-8:30 p.m.

ADVENTURE ENTERTAINMENT FILMS
In celebration of the Audi Snowmass 50 Mountain Bike Race, we’ll feature six outstanding short adventure films on Saturday featuring a mix of mountain biking, surfing and climbing.

• “Trial and Error:” Janine Jungfels will take you on a journey and show you how trials riding allows her to explore and enjoy the outdoors.
• “Three Kings:” Formula 1 Star Lewis Hamilton is joined by Big Wave World Champion Makua Rothman and Motocross/Supercross Champion Dylan Ferrandis in an epic surf session at Waco Surf deep in the heart of Texas.
• “The Stories We Tell Ourselves:” Imagine you are alone on North America’s Highest Peak (Denali) and trying to break The Female Fastest Known Time. You must travel 38 miles on a glacier to 20,310 feet in less than 21 hours. How would you fare in this frigid, lifeless landscape? Where would your mind go?
• “Racing Arizona:” Racing Arizona is a new film from Revel Bikes, where Elizabeth Sampey revisits the Arizona Trail two years after setting the fastest known time and reflects on what the race meant to her.
• “With My Own Two Wheels:” Stories about how the power of bicycles can change our world. Filmed in Rwanda, Zambia, Ghana, India, Guatemala and the US.
• “Girls Gotta Eat Dirt:” Sit back, relax and watch Avra Saslow, Clare Hamilton and Delilah Cupp lead you through the finest dirt Silverton, CO has to offer. From exposed rocky ridge lines to loam tunnels deep in the woods to old mining roads, these girls will show you how to have a good time just about anywhere your bike can take you.

Blankets and low profile chairs are encouraged. Seating is first-come, first-served. Picnics and non-alcoholic beverages may be carried in. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from moxiBar and the Limelight Hotel only, with food available for purchase at any Base Village restaurant. Free parking is available in the Base Village parking structure.
