Free! Adult Art Class: Collage and Cocktails

Join artist and Aspen Art Museum Fellow, Annie Bell, for a fascinating exploration of collage. We will warm up by touching briefly on the history of the artform by looking at “papier colle” created by Picasso, Braques, Gris, Matisse, Schwitters, Hoch and more. Then we will pick up scissors and glue to create our own layered compositions using salvaged books, painted papers, photographs, magazines, etc. Each participant will have the opportunity to complete multiple collage pieces to take home.
Participants receive one complimentary beer or wine from Mawita Restaurant.
All materials and supplies are provided and all skill levels are welcome!
